Marco GMarco started his career in the Restaurant business more than twenty years ago.

He started working weekends in a pub nearby Pantheon square in Rome.

In summertime, Marco went to work to Sardinia in an exclusive resort as a bartender and server.

Once he learned the skills and knowledge needed in the hospitality business he decided to go abroad and learn as many languages as he could.

Marco's important international experiences were mostly in hotels in London, where he also went to school and obtained a Food and Beverage Management Certificate.

Then he went to Spain and France where he landed at a very exclusive Two Michelin Star Relais & Chateau hotel as Head bartender.

Marco is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.

Once back in Rome, he was hired as Head bartender at the Majestic Hotel in Veneto street, one of the Italian Leading Luxury Hotels.

Due to his excellent performance, he was promoted to Director of Food and Beverage and his contribution in the years to come led the department to many profitable achievements.

In 2004 Marco became the Restaurant General Manager of a prestigious restaurant in the heart of Rome. He would successfully work there for five years until he could not pass the opportunity to own and manage his own restaurant, finally realizing a longtime dream.

It was in April 2010 that MarcoG opened its doors at 56 Garibaldi Street.

Marco's work philosophy is made of basic but essential factors: great food quality versus fair prices, attentive and friendly service, warm hospitality, mostly an enthusiasm and determination to make every customer happy.
